Profit from a better understanding of your energy information
This workshop is of interest to anyone who likes taking decisions based on good information. Some managers have too little information; some, too much … much too much. Learn from company best practices, and two of the most experienced energy managers in the UK, about scoping and implementing an energy data plan: use of metering, BMS and company data; analysis of information; KPIs; the learning loop.
Mervyn Bowden, had a 28 year career with the Marks & Spencer group, spending the last 12 years heading its energy management function, and in the last 3 years has formed two consultancy companies – including Empirical Energy Limited in 2014 with Andrew Jones. Andrew had a long career in senior technical and commercial roles in utility companies and ESCOs, before a prominent 11 year period as energy manager for Alliance Boots that included a year as a senior policy advisor at Defra. For six years he ran his own consultancy in the FM, sustainability and energy sectors.
Both have proven experience in designing, writing and delivering a range of high quality training solutions for Blue Chip and representative bodies.
By the end of this workshop, you will have a thorough understanding of:
- What data/information you need to make correct decisions.
- The tools you can use to assemble, monitor and maintain your data.
- How to use information for effective energy planning.
Our workshop is tailored to you, it uses and challenges your experiences and is forward-looking. It will help you implement a comprehensive information strategy that forms the essential backbone of any energy, environmental or sustainability plan.
